Willms to Step Down as Deutsche CEO

Thomas Willms plans to leave his position as CEO of Steigenberger Hotels AG and Deutsche Hospitality by 30 September with CFO Matthias Heck temporarily assuming the chief executive’s responsibilities.

August 27, 2020--Thomas Willms announced in Frankfurt today that he will step down from his position as CEO of Steigenberger Hotels AG and of Deutsche Hospitality with effect from 30 September 2020. “Over the past three years, working in conjunction with the Supervisory Board, my esteemed Executive Board colleague Matthias Heck and together with the associates of Deutsche Hospitality in particular, I have had the privilege of writing a new chapter in the history of Deutsche Hospitality,” said Thomas Willms. “My task has now been completed. I am looking forward to seeing the vision, perfection and passion of the DH Family as it continues to shape this transformation process.”
