Like many people from Nice, Georges Rocchietta found his roots on the other side of the Alps. Grandson of Italian immigrants who fled Piedmont in the 1930s, coming from a modest background, he became the first in the family to obtain the baccalaureate. Enrolled at the University of Nice in 1982, it was there, thanks to a friend, that he discovered real estate and a profession that represented for the young man “the quintessence of freedom and independence”: a promoter!
