Co-working giant WeWork holds a tenth of all office stock in two London submarkets

The trouble afflicting WeWork has been the biggest office-related story of the year so far, even overshadowing Brexit. The details are well known: the postponement of its IPO in September, the removal of CEO Adam Neumann, a sharp drop in the company valuation and its subsequent takeover by Softbank, its biggest investor. WeWork has called a virtual halt to its expansion programme in the process, an expansion programme that has seen the firm take nearly 4 million SF across London since entering the market in 2014 to become the biggest corporate occupier of office space in the capital.
