Robert Dagrassa's first quality is his loyalty. To the company that created it but also to the men and women around it. The second is her empathy, which sometimes overflows but which warms all the time. This trajectory has its source in Ariège. The eldest of three boys, Robert Dagrassa remembers hard and proud of his poor but excessively happy childhood. He is already the mixture of a French mother and a Portuguese father who never wanted to return to the country. In the fields or in the mountains, the young boy does not really have a choice: he must succeed. “At school, I was a bit of an outcast, a foreign servant. This gave me enormous motivation”, insists Robert Dagrassa, who nevertheless has no feeling of revenge. Strong will, the young man passed all obstacles to find himself at the doors of INSA, from which he graduated in 1973 with an engineering degree in his pocket. “For the first time, I see my father cry.” For the first time, I see my father cry.” From there, the timid sickly man then became a great team captain. Robert Dagrassa then discovered the passion of others that would never fail him again. A blessed time when he crossed paths with his future wife, from Toulouse by her state... but also his first job at Castel et Fromaget specializing in metal construction. The young fiancé does not shy away from his pleasure even when he is sent to Algeria for a year. But already the appeal of the Pink City is winning. So when a company called Giraudie and Auffèvre places a classified ad to recruit a sales engineer, he knows that he is their man.
