Housing is at the heart of a triangle of social, economic and environmental issues that are absolutely crucial, closely interlinked and interdependent. The unprecedented housing crisis that we are currently experiencing is deeply affecting these balances. It endangers the very structure of our society, the sustainability of an economic sector, which represents 11% of French GDP, and the decarbonization of construction, which is now the source of nearly a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions in France.
