The difference in average office rents in the two varsity cities has widened to almost £6 per sq ft

Average office rents in the varsity cities of Oxford and Cambridge have grown steadily in recent years, but Cambridge has been the clear winner. Rental levels were roughly the same in 2007, but in recent years Cambridge rents have grown at a much faster rate. Average rents in Cambridge are now around £26 per sq ft in Q4 2019, £6 per sq ft (or 30%) higher than in Oxford.
