California Senators Push Statewide Eviction Moratorium for Commercial Tenants

California legislators are working to let commercial real estate tenants struggling with closed stores during the coronavirus pandemic have more than a year to pay their rents without facing eviction or any interest payments, a move drawing opposition from building owners across the nation's most populous state.
