Between 1 April and 30 September, 23 “small” cranes appeared in the skies over the Paris region; a real stoppage after the 54 new construction starts recorded over the previous period, notes Deloitte Finance on the occasion of the publication of the 41st edition of the Grand Paris Office Crane Survey, carried out in collaboration with Explore. Thus, around 110,000 m² have been initiated, compared to 570,000 m² six months ago. Paris intramural represents 70% of launches (75,600 m²; -75%), spread over 17 new sites. As a reminder, over the last period, the launch of the 80,000 m² Triangle Tower, supported by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and Axa IM Alts, had pulled this volume up. Despite this decrease, the authors of the study note, “the number of new projects in the capital remains higher than the average number of 14 launches per edition over the last ten years.”
